General Metal Works GPS-1 PUF Sampler
The GMW PUF sampler simultaneously collects semi-volatile organic compounds, airborne particulates and vapor contamination from pesticide compounds. The GPS-1 PUF (polyurethane foam) sampler has successfully demonstrated the capability of efficiently collecting a number of organochlorine and organophosphate pesticides. It contains a by-pass blower motor and cooling fan designed for continuous sampling at rates of 280 liters per minute (10 cfm). It is housed in an anodized aluminum shelter for outdoor service in any type of climate.

PUF samplers have been adapted to many different organic sampling techniques. To minimize turnover time between samples, many clients rent additional glassware or sampling modules. Remember, the polyurethane foam media should be both prepared and analyzed by a qualified laboratory.
